This is a painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky bluebottle fish (AKA a man-of-war fish) living amongst a Portuguese man-of-war in the wide open ocean under a sea of stars. The bluebottle fish tries to warn the lookdown fish to look up. Unfortunately, it's too late and the lookdown fish has been caught in the Portuguese man-of-war's tentacles equipped with paralyzing, stinging, venom-filled nematocysts (painted and highlighted in metallic silver blue acrylic paint). This is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on two spooky red drums tailing and looking for things to eat in the shallow marshes of Florida. Like many others, Madison has always been fascinated by the tails and spots of the red drum. To Madison, they resemble butterfly wings with their spots and colours. As a result of always thinking this, she placed her two red drums in the painting in such a way that their two tails formed a complete butterfly. Madison really wanted to capture how shiny and beautiful the colours of a red drum are and so in order to do this, she used many different metallic acrylics in this painting. She really wanted to capture colours and shine that changes at every angle the viewer sees of the painting. With such a love for the night time, Madison captures the stars in the sky with fireflies dancing in the background of the painting. She also made sure to include her signature "Little Spooky Boi" fish and topped it all off with her water magic. For those of you who do not know exactly what "tailing" is, it is a behaviour of red drums where the they feed in very shallow water. As they lower their heads, their tails are sometimes exposed at the surface. This behaviour is what many anglers refer to as "tailing". In shallow water, the red drum's dorsal fin and back are also exposed quite often. This makes these fish especially fun for sight fishing. Red drums are also quite easy to spot as they move among the march grasses causing these grasses to move giving their locations away quite easily. Madison would also like to give a shoutout to the incredibly talented and very beautiful, Deanna Molinaro (AKA Madison's Dad's second family) and to the wonderful DEBRA family. If you are ever looking for a good cause to support, I highly recommend checking out and supporting DEBRA. It is a wonderful network and family that creates awareness and helps support people suffering from a rare and painful condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Meet "Spooky Cobia"™. This is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky cobia about to hit a jig. When Madison moved to Florida, it was around cobia season and she quickly became fascinated by these fish and the way people sight fish for them on top of towers on the charter boats going out to sea and coming back into the harbour with their cray cobia catches. Madison decided that it seemed fitting to do this cobia piece with cobia season around once again.

Gray triggers are really interesting fish and can live up to 13 years. They are one of the first recreational fishing seasons to start up in the year here in the Gulf and are also considered to be one of the tastiest fish here in Florida.

This is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky green sea turtle and a spooky paddleboarder with his two spooky Australian shepherds cruising along with him for the therapeutic paddle. Madison decided to do this painting entirely as a donation for Gulf Therapy's "Paddle For Peace" event to help raise money for mental health and getting people out on the water, specifically with paddle boards! This event and what Gulf Therapy does hits close to home for Madison as she struggled with her own mental health in the past working in EMS and found that being out on the water in her sea kayak was one of the most therapeutic things that she could do along with painting. This piece was raffled off for the "Paddle For Peace" event and was won by the wonderful Jenny Murphy! Madison had decided to capture the artificial reefs out in Grayton Beach of 30A. She chose to paint a green sea turtle, because they are well loved and known in the area. The artificial reef even forms a sea turtle from a bird's eye view. The moon jellies are included in the piece due to them being a favourite food of the sea turtles and a favourite jellyfish of Madison's. She chose to highlight the moon jellies with metallic acrylic paint to capture to bioluminescence of the moon jellies. Madison has an incredible love for the water and for many different paddle sports including paddle boarding, so she chose to paint a paddleboarder and two Australian Shepherds in honor of her two Australian Shepherds, Douglas and Donald. Madison also has a new found love for floppy sun hats and so it was inevitable that she had to throw one of those bad boys on the spooky paddler.

This is an original acrylic painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky blue crab swimming and cruising around on the outskirts of Crab Island in Destin amongst the sea grass with it's spooky pinfish catch! The blue crab's scientific name, Callinectes sapidus means "savory beautiful swimmer". This is due to their specialized hind legs which act like incredible paddles and help make them the excellent swimmers that they are. Madison grew up catching blue crabs and always loved watching them swim and cruise around quickly and so effortlessly in the water. Like many other people, she also enjoys using them in her Cajun dishes as well as eating their delicious crab claws which they are known for.

This guy is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky great blue heron taking off in the night after catching an invasive pleco catfish in the Florida Everglades. Great blue herons have always been a part of Madison's life no matter where she has seemed to live and so she had to add one to this series due to the bird holding a special place in her heart. In this painting, the native great blue heron is taking advantage of and making a dinner out of the non-native invasive pleco catfish thought to have been introduced to Florida from people dumping and releasing these fish from their aquariums. Although they have been thriving in Florida, many Florida native species occasionally make a meal out of them.

This is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky blue marlin who was caught by the two spooky bill fishermen. Living in Florida and being in the Destin area, it is very much a common sight to see marlins and many other sea beasts being weighed and hoisted for all to see at the docks and the harbor. Destin and Miramar beach are home to the ECBC (the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic) and many other famous and well known fishing tournaments and events. Madison had never seen a marlin in person until 2020 and she absolutely fell in love with them. Seeing one of these magnificent fish up close and personal is a humbling experience and quite memorable and catching one is on her bucket list. Madison chose to highlight the Spooky Blue Marlin in the painting with iridescent and metallic acrylic paints on it's fins and on it's stripes in blues and gold. It is definitely a piece that is quite the sight in person and will light right up when light hits it just right.

This is an original painting that Madison freehanded and is her take on a spooky brown pelican who is diving down into a school of mullet in the ocean. It is very much a common sight to see pods of brown pelicans diving down into schools of fish all along the coasts of the United States and especially here in Madison's home state for mullet along the coasts of Florida. It is a truly an incredible sight to see watching brown pelicans fly in pods just above the surface of the water and sometimes they get so close that their wingtips almost tough the water's surface. Once they spot a school of fish or a bait ball, the pelicans then circle and fly up high sometimes reaching heights of up to 60 feet and then they dive down at a steep 60 to 90 degrees while slightly rotating their necks to the left in order to avoid injury to their esophagus and trachea which are located on the right side of their bodies. Madison has always been fascinated by these giant birds especially since she is an avid birder.
